I like to sum up New Years Resolutions with one word. This year I've decided that the word is 'wellbeing'.
Wellbeing to me means good health, rest, challenging my mind and body. My trip to Sydney has meant some overindulgence (it's my birthday after all) therefore my pledge to 'wellbeing' will begin next week!!
I do love Sydney town though, and this week have had the great pleasure of checking out some of my favourite shops restaurants and galleries. My standout was the trip to Mark Tuckey over in Newport Beach. Check out this stunning furniture here. There is a real sense of presence with his pieces. They hark back to an era when furniture was built to last. I noticed how impossible it was to keep my hands to myself - touching the chunky tables and running hands over beautifully finished timber. I very much hope to own something from here sooner rather than later!
